Description

The Star Mfg RG2025 Motor 1P 3.5RPM 120 V is a single-phase low-speed electric gear motor that is used to provide a controlled rotational movement in mechanical assemblies. It runs on 120 V AC supply and provides a constant output speed of 3.5 revolutions per minute which is proper in applications that need slow and constant movement. Commercial appliances and other light industrial equipment including food service equipment rotating displays and automated timing mechanisms are generally powered by the motor. It is the main driving element in a system transforming electrical energy into mechanical rotation to assist uniform motion of the parts attached to it. It is fitted on drive assemblies where it is necessary to have a high degree of low-speed performance.
