Description

The Star Mfg PS-RG2025 is a single phase 120 V electric motor that is aimed at delivering a fixed output speed of 3.5 RPM. It finds application in low-speed drive applications where there is a need to have a rotational motion. Depending on the configuration, the motor is normally fitted in appliances and light-duty mechanical systems like damper assemblies, display equipment or rotisseries-like cooking equipment. When operating, it transforms electrical energy into regulated rotational movement, which makes gear-reduced mechanisms of the host system move. It is used as part of larger assemblies and does not operate as a single piece of equipment but assists to provide timed or controlled motion in automated or semi-automated equipment.
