The Hobart 00-349253-1 Thermostat W/Dial KXP 3/16" X 6-1/2" regulates operating temperature by combining a manually adjustable dial with a nickel bulb that responds to changes in commercial surrounding heat. The sensing bulb measures 3/16 inch by 6-1/2 inches as specified, providing the temperature-sensing section for the control arrangement. Turning the dial establishes the desired temperature setting, while the internal contacts respond as the sensed condition changes. This electrical switching action controls the connected heating circuit, cycling heat input to keep the equipment within the selected temperature range during normal operation.
