Description

The Sporlan Y1001FBS1-4C Expansion Valve 0.5 in x 3 in sensing bulb is a thermostatic expansion valve that is used in commercial appliances. And air conditioning systems to regulate the flow of appliance into the evaporator. It controls the flow of liquid refrigerant according to the temperature and pressure conditions of the evaporator to ensure that the superheat is maintained at a constant level to ensure that the system operate properly. The valve is mounted in the liquid line between the evaporator and the condenser and has 1/4 in inlet and 3/8 in outlet connections to fit in standard piping layouts. The remote bulb is connected to the suction line to measure the temperature variations and control valve reaction.
