Description

The General Electric XND16X5 Vacuum Breaker 180F 125 PSI 1/2" NPT is used to prevent backflow by permitting air to enter the commercial system. When the pressure is negative it work by an internal valve system that reacts to the pressure change by opening to allow air to enter and closing when normal pressure is restored. This element is normally fitted in the plumbing systems where reverse flow may occur like in the vicinity of water supply connections or equipment that require backflow prevention.
