Description

The Star Mfg 2T-05-GR-0005 Thermostat K 3/16" X 12" 42" Capillary is a mechanical temperature-sensing control used to cycle the heating system in compatible commercial cooking equipment. Its 3/16-inch by 12-inch sensing bulb responds to temperature changes within the heated area and transfers the thermal condition through the 42-inch capillary tube to the thermostat mechanism. As the sensed temperature reaches the selected setting, the internal contacts open or close to regulate power to the connected heating circuit. The control works directly with the appliance’s heating components, cycling them as temperature changes occur to maintain the required cooking temperature.
