The Stoelting 763012 Hot Gas Bypass Valve is a spare part of a control component in a frozen dessert and beverage system that stabilises commercial appliances. When accuracy for cool refrigerant decreases, it controls the discharge of hot refrigerant gas flow returning to the suction line to prevent damage to the compressor from low suction pressure or liquid refrigerant return and to reduce evaporator icing. It is positioned inside the sealed refrigeration unit and in parallel to the compressor assembly and takes into account the pressures in the system and regulates bypass flow accordingly. It is used in soft serve machines, frozen yoghurt units, and other foodservice equipment.
