How do I install the Vulcan Hart 00-498438-0000A Temperature Control Assembly?
- Disconnect power to the griddle/oven.
- Remove the old temperature control assembly — detach wiring leads, and unscrew or unclip the control unit from its mounting.
- Install the new unit: insert and secure the body in place, ensuring the pointer knob and overlay align correctly.
- Connect the 115 VAC supply wiring and the “K”-type temperature sensor leads per original configuration.
- Restore power, set the pointer to a mid-range temperature, and allow the unit to reach set temperature — confirm the heater cycles off and on properly.
