Description

The Southbend SOU1185537 Range Pilot Safety Valve 1/2" FPT is a pilot-operated gas control valve for use in commercial cooking equipment. It controls the flow of natural gas or propane to the burner system and it also controls the gas circuit. The valve is designed to only let gas flow when ignition conditions exist to prevent unburned gas release and to aid in proper burner start-up. This is usually installed in restaurants that are being repaired or maintained. It is part of the appliances gas control and security system.
