Description

The T&S Brass AG-5F Snapfast Gas Quick Disconnect 1-1/4" is a gas supply line connector that opens and closes with a spring-loaded valve mechanism that opens when fully connected and closes when released. A thermal shutoff system is activated by overheating, and it turns off the gas flow by opening an internal secure element until the connection is re-established. The assembly is commonly placed in-line between a commercial gas supply line and the equipment to which it is connected, and placed at the connection point to permit easy separation to enable maintenance or servicing.
