Description

The Hussmann E201892 DP Heater is an electric defrost boiler used to remove frost accumulation from the evaporator section during scheduled defrost cycles. Rated at 800W and operating on 115V it generates heat that melts ice from the coil allowing unrestricted airflow, and efficient heat exchange. Installed within the evaporator assembly the heater operates under the control of the units defrost timer or electronic controller. It works with the refrigeration system to restore normal cooling performance following each defrost cycle in commercial display cases and refrigerated storage equipment.
