The Groen Z013481 High Limit Thermostat is a fixed 550°F for safety in ovens. It has a 3/16" bulb and KX dip sealing, to keep the temperature regulated and to prevent overheating by cutting off power when the temperature goes over safe limits. Almost always found in the professional kitchen or food service type of equipment, this thermostat is used to maintain those proper cooking temperatures for you. It increases safety, energy efficiency, and durability making it an appliance with longer life and decreased risk of fire from overheating.
