The Sloan EBV89A-M Flush Kit Infrared Retro-Fit is sensor conversion component that modifies manual flush valves to have infrared activation. It works on the concept of sensing the presence of the user with an inbuilt infrared module, and this signal is sent to the internal solenoid to start a controlled flushing cycle. This kit is mounted on the flush valve housing in which it is necessary to have contactless activation under commercial restroom conditions. The electronic assembly is connected to specific EBV system layouts and connects via standard wiring and plumbing routes in the organised retrofit projects.
