Description

The TRUE E801810 Defrost Heater is a 950-watt electric heating unit that can be used in compatible commercial units. This heater is 123-7/8 inches in size and it is used to warm the evaporator coil when the automatic defrost cycles are on to eliminate frost and ice that may have accumulated and obstruct the cooling process. It is applied in grocery and convenience and foodservice. Attached the evaporator assembly; the defrost heater is linked to the sensors of the system to activate defrost. It is also essential in the system to ensure that there is a heat exchange and constant temperature control when the system is in service.

Step1: Disconnect power and ensure freezer is fully defrosted and empty.
