Description

The Vollrath 17012-1 Control Knob Black 3/4" DIA is a manual control interface component that is applied in foodservice equipment to control the temperature, speed or other parameters. The 3/4-inch diameter and shape of the knob is a haptic interface to allow operators to make accurate adjustments to ranges, griddles, mixers or other such parts. It is attached to the control shafts of compatible units and converts user input into mechanical or electronic response in the system of the appliance. This assists in normal operation and equipment calibration, which assists in ensuring the same cooking or processing conditions.

More Information:

Step1: Turn off power and allow the equipment to cool completely before servicing.

Step2: Pull off the existing damaged or worn knob from the control shaft.

Step3: Align the new pointer knob with the flat or keyed shaft position.

Step4: Press the knob firmly onto the shaft until it seats securely.

Step5: Ensure the pointer aligns with the correct temperature or setting markings.

Step6: Restore power and test smooth rotation and proper control response.
