The Toastmaster - See Middleby Marshall A23731 Vacuum Breaker lead-Free 3/4" NPT is a plumbing system that prevents backflow by opening an air inlet when negative pressure occurs in the water line using commercial system. It is based on an internal check and air vent system that senses pressure changes and admits air into the system to break up reverse flow in the piping system and keep supply and contaminated return flow paths separate.
