The SECO XP145 Immersion Heater 1PH W/ 4" Conduit Box 2-3/8" MT Hole is used to heat the liquid by passing electrical current through an internal heating element that transfers thermal energy directly to the surrounding liquid. The medium is immersed around the element, and the heat is conducted and convected through the fluid between the metal sheath and the fluid during operation. This immersion heater is normally mounted using a hole and fixed in such a way that the heating part is always under water in tanks or vessels.
