Description

The Garland G7804-280 Faucet Open Top Pilot Assembly 6" 1/8" CCT Nut and sleeve directs the gas through the pilot tube, where it ignites at the open top to form a flame that triggers the main burner. The gas flow is maintained as the flame is kept on, which is to start burning the gas when the gas valve is opened. It is attached next to the burner and compatible cooking equipment and is placed in such a manner that the pilot flame contacts the ignition point directly. The tube nut and sleeve attach the gas line and ensure correct positioning in the unit.

Step1: Turn off the gas and power to the appliance for safety.

Step5: Install the new pilot assembly, secure with mounting screws.

Step6: Reconnect the gas line and wiring exactly as before.
