Southbend 9226-1 Spark Ignition Module

The Southbend 9226-1 Spark Ignition Module for commercial gas cooking equipment for controlling the ignition process for burners. It generates and controls high-voltage sparks to precisely ignite the gas during start-up and provides secure operation by communicating with the systems control system and flame sensing Parts. During operation, it is installed inside the electrical control panel on the inside of the range or oven or other food service equipment and connects to the gas valve and ignition electrodes. The module controls and regulates the ignition time and assists in even lighting of the burner during each ignition cycle in commercial kitchen systems.
