Hobart 920883-1 Thermocoupl Probe

The Hobart 920883-1 Thermocouple Probe measures temperature by creating a small voltage at the junction of two different metals when heated. Thermal changes at the probe are converted to an electrical signal which is sent to a control unit for monitoring and regulating temperature levels as the temperature differential at the sensing tip is proportional to the heat intensity and produces a millivolt response. It is mounted in the vicinity of the heating elements or cooking chamber areas to obtain direct thermal readings in cooking equipment assemblies or in enclosed heat zones for positioning of the sensor in commercial cooking units.
