Description

The Vollrath 369075 Flame Sensor is a sensing component used to detect flame in appropriate combustion systems. The mechanism that it operates is by inserting its 1-3/8″ probe into the burner region, where it is able to detect heat or flame ionisation and relay this signal to the control system via the 1/4 inch 90 degree electrical tab. The sensor will then be placed in the prescribed burner mount in such a way that it will consistently know whether or not combustion has been established.

Step1: Turn off gas and electrical power at main supply, and allow oven to cool completely.

Step2: Remove access panel and locate old flame sensor near burner assembly.

Step3: Disconnect wiring harness and mounting tab carefully, noting original position.

Step4: Install new sensor in same orientation, secure tab mount to bracket.

Step5: Reconnect wiring firmly and restore electrical power and gas supply.

Step6: Test ignition cycle and verify flame detection for stable operation.
