Description

Imperial 28299 Conversion Kit is used to convert fryers from NAT to LP. This consists of a RSW valve, W/R valve springs with cap and adjustment screw, three burner orifices and pilot orifice of size .016 inches. This conversion kit is designed for use with Imperial fryers IFP and IFS series only. With this kit, the operators can change fuel type to enhance efficiency and power in the shortest time possible. It guarantees the best performance of the burner, minimizes on time wastage and increases the life span of the fryer, making it a worthy investment particularly for those using different types of gas.

Step1: Turn off fryer gas supply and disconnect electrical power, allow unit to cool completely.

Step2: Drain oil and remove fryer baskets and burner access panels.

Step3: Remove existing gas orifice and regulator components.

Step4: Install conversion parts according to LP or NG configuration.

Step5: Tighten all fittings securely using approved sealant where required.

Step6: Reassemble burner and panels, then restore gas supply.

Step7: Perform leak test and check proper ignition and flame adjustment.
